Many people think that baking a cake is a process that requires a lot time and preparation. On the other hand, I do not think so. In actual fact, there are many ways to transform a simple cake into a brilliant one. Do you know that a homemade cake can also be an appetizing desert?
Like I said, baking a good cake actually does not take too much work but you do need is to pay close attention to details and a special ingredient. When you fail to do so, you will end up having to redo your cake or trying to conceal the mistakes on your cake. These are the things that take up your time. Hence, it is important to be a little meticulous when it comes to baking. I will also tell you about my top 5 useful tips for baking and my secret ingredient.
First, I do not take my ingredients out until I decide what is it actually that want to bake. I know that most people just start doing everything. They take ingredients like salt, eggs, sugar and more even before knowing what to bake. This is not wise, as it will only create more chaos and confusion.
Second, my baking area must be completely clean and tidy before I start baking. It is also smart to clean your area before baking as it can get you in the mood to bake.
Third, I always read the recipe from start till finish. I don’t just start by grabbing pots, pans and ingredients when I start baking. Then, I make sure I get all the ingredients and details ready before I start anything.
Fourth, I start to visualizing the appearance and taste of my cake. I don’t just read the recipe and create the cake at once. No way! Instead, I pretend to smell the cake create a mental picture of it in mind.
Fifth, I get out all the ingredients that I need before I start to mix all of it together. Have you ever realize that you are missing an ingredient like eggs, flour or sugar when you are getting to mix the cake mixture together? This should not happen! You need to plan ahead before starting to bake. Only then, your cake can be a success.
Now for the final ingredient! In actual fact, it is not really an ingredient. The secret ingredient is love! This may sounds absurd but when I think of other people eating my cake, it somehow forces me to pay close attention to details and whatnots. This also helps me to do things the correct way, as I want people to love my cake just as much as I do. When you think back, this will actually work right?
Now, after the tips I gave, are you confidant to bake your own cake? Do you think you can be a cake expert and run your own cake business? In the end, you will definitely feel very accomplished and satisfied indeed.
